New projects at CHI during confinement

They well say that confinement is a time that serves to update and reinvent ourselves, and at CHI it is no exception! Taking into account the changes that we have had to make in our house in Kericho after COVID-19, with great joy, we want to share the new projects that we are working on with our children.

Apart from studying from home, doing their daily tasks and activities, the girls and boys are learning to weave. This space allows them to stay active, learn and generate new skills and is also part of the projects to manage their free time.

Once again, thanks to all of you for being part of this family that constantly seeks to offer a better quality of life to our children.

Know a little more about our children
Faith Chepchirchir

My name is Faith Chepchirchir, I will be turning 16 years in October this year. I came to Care highway when I was four years. Am in form two at Kaborok girls secondary school, during my stay in school I have never lacked anything because Care Highway team has been catering to all my basic needs and they also visit my school to check on my academic progress. My favorite subject is English and I would like to be a professor when I complete my studies.

During my leisure time, I read storybooks because I want to make my English better and pass my examination. I also like storytelling using English. I have been toping in my class on this subject.
My favorite color is pink, it always makes my day bright, because pink represents friendship, affection, harmony, and inner peace. Most of my dresses are pink.

Thank you to Care Highway because they have brought back a smile to my face. May the Almighty God bless the work of your hands. You will not go unrewarded because God has a reward for you, I know my dream is going to be valid because of you.

I will make sure that I work extra hard on my studies so that I fulfill my dream and show off the light on Care Highway home. I will also work hard so that I will change Care Highway home and be a role model and mentor to my siblings at the children’s home. I will also come and visit them and sponsor them.
